Client charged with 11 counts of Preparing, Advertising or Distributing Materials Depicting Pornography Involving a Minor.

These are Category B felonies. Punishable by 1 – 15 years in prison on each count. That means a potential maximum sentence of somewhere between 27 and 1/2 – 165 years in prison.

Outcome: My client entered a plea of no contest to a single misdemeanor count of Disorderly Conduct. The adjudication of guilt was stayed (she was not convicted of it today). She needs to stay out of trouble for six months. If she stays out of trouble, then she is allowed to withdraw her plea to Disorderly Conduct, and the case is dismissed. If she fails to stay out of trouble, she would then be convicted of the Disorderly conduct and receive a sentence of 90 days in jail.

If convicted our client had to be sentenced to terms of imprisonment of 2 to 15 years.

If convicted of this felony our client was not eligible for probation and had to be sentenced to a term of imprisonment ranging from 2 to 10 years.

Battery Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm Constituting Domestic Violence (Felony) If convicted our client was not eligible for probation and had to be sentenced to a term of imprisonment ranging from 1 to 5 years.

Count 1: Invasion of Home (Felony) Count 2: 2nd Degree Kidnapping (Felony) Count 3: Battery Domestic Violence (Felony) Count 4: Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Felony). If convicted our client was not eligible for probation and had to be sentenced as follows: Count 1: 2 to 15 years. Count 2: 2 to 15 years. Count 3: 1 to 6 years. Count 4: 1 to 6 years.

(Misdemeanor) If convicted our client was looking at a potential jail sentence of up to 6 months.

(Felony) If convicted our client was not eligible for probation and had to be sentenced to a term of imprisonment ranging from 1 to 5 years.
